The Bays Hospital

For over 60 years the Rotary Club of Mornington has supported the Bays Hospital.

In 2024, we instigated a project that Mornington Peninsula residents will benefit from. We commenced The Bays Nursing and Midwifery Education Fund to support The Bays’ nurses to undertake specialised training, which not-for-profit hospitals and nurses struggle to afford. This will be an ongoing support project by our Club. Members of the community are welcome to also contribute. To date, nearly 100 nurses have undertaken specialty training courses through this initiative.

In the past we have also provided a Critical Care Bed in the HCU and a day bed in the new Cancer facility. This will be an ongoing support project by our Club. Members of the community are welcome to also contribute.
