Thanks to all of the men who love and support children, grandchildren and their special others as they grow to be healthy, social and engaged participants in the world around them.
The smiling quartet of Dr Dan, Dr J, Dr Muh and Darina from Balnarring Dental came to speak to us about the importance of good dental care as we age. They emphasised that the mouth is the doorway to the body, and healthy teeth and gums, regular dental checkups and making sure that there is reasonable time between food/drink intakes will benefit our overall health. Great advice!
SCHOOLS SHOWCASE
Over 40 students, teachers, parents and Rotarians will gather at the Mornington Hotel this Wednesday, September 10 from 6pm for the annual Schools Showcase.
It is always wonderful to watch the student presentations and to meet the children, their parents and teachers.
We will also have the opportunity to meet Linda Zhou, our National Youth Science Forum sponsored student for January 2026.
Mornington Special Development School
This very special Mornington school finally reached the top of the funding list and is now a state-of-the art facility, providing a wonderful environment for the students and dedicated staff.
We are judged by the way we look after the most vulnerable in our community and these students, from 3 to 18 years of age, certainly need our support.
Principal Jo Hillman, and Karen Binks, Business Manager, commented: “We are very grateful for Rotary’s commitment to supporting schools and the wider community, and we look forward to working together to make a positive difference for our students.”

Planting out the Mornington Rotary Greenway
When the rain eases, go for a short stroll along the easement behind the Community Support Centre. Our trees are thriving and will continue to do so with regular watering. The recent rain has added benefits but doesn't replace the need for deep watering.
These trees are a great investment in our Mornington future generations.
The ART SHOW COMMITTEEwould like everyone to seek new sponsors to help boost our revenue to support the Club's projects.
This is our major fundraising event and we need to promote it within and without our community. Sponsorship is an essential part of this event. Contact John Parkinson for further information.
Moorooduc Primary School
The school performance will be held at the Frankston Arts Centre on Thursday and is sure to be a very entertaning production.
Brian and Jenny will be back from their travels in time to lay another very special handmade wreath on behalf of our club at the Mornington Secondary College Remembrance Day commemoration.
