This week’s meeting has Dr.Gobinder Kashmirian as our guest speaker. Gobinder is a local GP who specialises in skin cancers. Given Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world this is a great opportunity to invite family and friends to come and learn more.
Moondah Furniture Clearance . For a few months the Club has been exploring with the Mornington Community Support Centre the opportunity to sell all the furniture the Ryman Property in Mt.Eliza (the old Mebourne University Business School). It’s looking like a public auction in mid February 2023 might be the best option with all proceeds to the Centre. More news to follow, but if you know anyone in the second hand furniture business it would be great to know.
Board Meeting the Board met last Wednesday night and you will shortly receive the minutes.
Volunteers wanted – Sunday October 9. We still need volunteers for 2 shifts, 8am to 11.30 and 11.30 o 3pm at Sorrento to run a rest stop for the Around the Bay Bike Ride. Please let Ross know at this week’s meeting if you can make it. The club receives some funds for each volunteer and the major charity of the event is the Smith Family.
