Rotary  Club Meeting 27th November
Club Social Outing -  " Barefoot Bowls "
On Tuesday of last week about 16 of our club members and partners, braved the very blustery overcast condition’s to partake in our  “ Barefoot Lawn Bowls “ social evening.  It was great to see Richard Vauiter out and about after being waylaid for the past four weeks with a bad bout of the “ dreaded lerggie”.  With the weather condition’s a bit on the “blowy side, Peter Jay fired up the BBQ which was the catalyst to somewhat abandon the greens and head inside for some victuals, wine and warmth.  A big thanks to those who brought along the yummy salads and some very scrumptious apple pie and cream.  A special thank you to the Mornington Civic Bowling Club for offering their Club for our Social get together, and the Bar Staff who stayed back after closing time to look after us, and a special thanks to see Laurie Taylor out there on the bleachers providing plenty of coaching tips and loads of supportive encouragement. Well done to John Renowden for organising the evening, many thanks.

Mornington Yacht  Club - Sailability
On Wednesday, last week, the Mornington Yacht Club, opened another one of its many valuable additions to the clubs Sailability Program, that being the Wheel Chair Ramp Access. This most beneficial asset will see those members who require wheel chair access a safe and secure pathway from the hard standing area down to the jetty and subsequently alleviate the previous somewhat problematic path down the concrete causeway to the jetty area. The Rotary club of Mornington has a long and valued association with the Yacht Club, and along with our contributions over the years has resulted in a number of valuable resources to provide the Yacht Clubs Sailabilty Program ensuing an outstanding success for all.
