Sponsors Night this Wednesday
We have over a dozen Art Show sponsors coming this Wednesday night thanks to John, Richard, Joe and Ross. At last week’s meeting we asked members to pick a sponsor they will host on the night. We still need a couple more so if you can help please contact Ross.
Hosting means meeting them at the door, taking them through ordering their meal, for which the club is paying, buying them a drink, sitting with them and generally ensuring they have a great night and understand the good things we do.
It will be a normal club meeting format but the main presentation will be telling them about what we are about. Partners are very welcome.
With both Brian away and Richard recovering, Pam will chair the night.
Sunday May 7 Hunters Crossing Planting
We still need more volunteers to finish our club environmental project at Hunters Crossing this Sunday. We have about 200 plants to plant.
Just turn up at 9am and we aim to finish by 12. Bring gloves and a spade, and any family or friends willing to help
Hunters Crossing is near the corner of Yuilles and Pentecost Roads near Ultra Tune and Mornington Station. It’s likely where the Peninsula Trail will run.
Moondah Auction

Fabulous effort last week by Pam, Ian, Eileen, Jo and Ross together with Mt.Eliza Rotary Club.
We catalogued and photographed over two thousand items of bedroom, office, lounge and dining room furniture plus art plus a gym plus a kitchen plus plus plus .
The first of three live auctions opens this Thursday at
www.grays.com
The first inspection day is next Monday from 10am to 2pm if you would like to have a look (and the subsequent two Mondays) . If you would like to help contact Ross.
The Peninsula Trail

Council has provided us a number of corflute signs recognising our involvement with the Peninsula Trail as part of our Australian Rotary Centenary celebrations. We will be putting them up along the long route in the next week. We also have postcards about it to distribute.
Cluster Presidents Meeting
Well done President Elect, Pam, for attending Sunday morning’s Cluster Presidents Meeting at Rosebud to get an update on what is happening at District and the other 7 Peninsula clubs. Pam will update the Board at the Board meeting on the 17th May but if you want to know more, ask Pam.
