    District Conference hosted in Sorrento with President Elect Don Watson, District Governor's Special Representative.         
    Rotary Club of  Rosebud sponsored with President Don Watson, District Governor's Special Representative.
 
Community        
    Mornington King George V Bush Hospital Endowment Fund established          
    Wishing Well in the Park constructed and operated 1950-1968
    Lindsay Moorhead Preschool Centre constructed for £8000 with £5000 Government Grant. Carnival in the Park raised £250
    Good Neighbour Council formation assisted 
    Apex Club formed
   Police and Citizens Youth Club formed; Carnival raised £150
    District Scouts Association donation: £49
    Flood Relief Fund NSW donation: £10/10/-
    Andrew Kerr Childrens Home fete raised £490 for furniture and equipment
   Scouts- Mornington, Moorooduc and Mt Eliza, Guides, Sea Scouts, Mornington Brass Band donations:  £2/2/- each
